Ram, is currently the Managing Director of IPRings, a leading light engineering company involved in the manufacture of Steel Piston Rings and near net shaped cold forged components.

As a 3rd generation family member; he serves on the Board of the 2.4 Bill USD Amalgamations Group who are involved in the manufacture of Tractors, Diesel Engines and Auto Components.

A Mechanical Engineer from the UK and an MBA from the University of Chicago, his achievements include negotiating JV agreements and setting up greenfield projects.

Mr.Ram Venkataramani, is Managing Director, IP Rings Limited and President of Madras Management Association (MMA) & immediate Past President of Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA).
